Structural Pest Claims Group is an independent consultancy serving attorneys, insurers, property owners, and pest control companies. Our work draws on decades of hands on hundreds of liquid and bait termite treatments, and field expertise to produce findings that are accurate, defensible, and clearly explained.
We are not a pest control company. We do not treat structures. Our only role is to review the facts of a claim against the contract, the chemical label, the documentation, and the accepted standards of the industry.
“Do it right the first time”
— Family rule, since 1979
I grew up in the pest control industry. My father founded Milikin Exterminating in 1979, and as a young boy I followed him beneath houses inspecting for termites and structural damage. By high school, my afternoons and weekends were spent helping prepare homes for termite treatments and learning the business firsthand.
In 1996, I received my Georgia certification as a Designated Certified Operator in categories 29 and 30. I also hold certifications in categories 24 and 41 and obtained my Georgia Real Estate License in 2005.
During the 37 years of Milikin Exterminating, our company never had to pay a termite damage claim. That standard came from my father, who lived by one simple rule: “Do it right the first time.”
He taught me not only how to identify and properly treat one of nature’s most destructive insects, but also how to protect what he called “another person’s castle.”
Over the years, I also witnessed the other side of the industry — treatment failures, missed issues, and severe termite damage that affected homeowners financially and emotionally. Those experiences gave me a deep understanding of how problems occur, whether through negligence, poor practices, or simple mistakes.
In 2016, our family business was sold to a larger company, where I continued working alongside professionals committed to doing things the right way. I believe my father would be proud of the reputation and standards he passed down.
One of my greatest strengths is persistence. When I commit to a case, I work it thoroughly until the right answers are found. I believe in fast response times, clear communication, and keeping clients informed every step of the way.
My passion is helping people and companies navigate termite and pest control claims with clarity, honesty, and industry experience.
When a person believes they may have been exposed to pesticides or other treatment chemicals, the paperwork matters. We provide independent review of chemical use records, service tickets, treatment notes, labels, application methods, and related documentation to help determine whether the chemical was used properly, legally, and in compliance with accepted pest control standards.
Was the correct chemical used?
Was it applied in the correct location?
Was the amount or dilution rate proper?
Was the product used according to the label?
Were safety precautions followed?
Were re-entry or exposure risks properly considered?
Was the treatment documented correctly?
Did the service ticket match what was actually performed?
Were state, federal, and industry standards followed?
We do not guess. We review the records, the label, the treatment method, and the compliance requirements.
If you have concerns about possible chemical exposure or improper pesticide application, contact Structural Pest Claims Group to discuss your situation and review the available documentation.
